Much thanks to Jia, Yoonmi, Amanda, & Mei (and others whose names we may have omitted [sorry!]) for helping with the FAQs!
Below is a compilation of the most frequently asked questions, in no particular order. If your questions are not answered by the information below, feel free to ask in the chatbox (our 'Villa') or email us using the email form on the blog.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~1) Where can I watch dramas on this blog? How can I watch live TV online?
Locate the drama you want to watch on the "Projects" tab. To watch live real-time TV broadcasts, view the tutorial here.
2) I’m having trouble viewing the videos, what should I do? See #11Some of our TKA videos are broken (as noted where they are located). But you can also watch the episodes provided in the links-out page.
If the video isn't labeled as broken, it is still working. One of the methods below should allow you to watch the working videos on this blog:
1. Watch it directly from Overstream (click the Subtitles added at Overstream.net part on videos).
2. Watch at MySoju.
3. Clear your cache & cookies by going to the Tools menu of your browser.
4. Install the latest version of Flash Player; Overstream requires Flash Player version 8 or above.
5. Restart your browser and/or try a different browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc.).
6. Restart your computer. 3) Can I download your episodes?
We are strictly an "online-based" subbing group, meaning that we are only concerned with subbing online, and not releasing episodes for download because that is a muddy issue. Thanks for your understanding. Please be courteous and respectful. If we sub a drama, we've always linked to another fansubbing group that are releasing hardsub episodes so that viewers can get a hardcopy if desired.
4) What is the difference between softsubs and hardsubs? What are RAWs? Softsub is a separate file that contains the subtitles and you need to download it and the video file to be able to watch with subtitles. Hardsub is the video file that contains subtitles already, so you just need to download the hardsub file to be able to watch with subtitles. RAW = video file without subtitles.
5) Can you send me your subtitles files/softsubs? Nope!
6) Where can I download English subbed episodes of the projects and the OST(s)? You can find the download links for TKA
here. ISWAK and LoB do not have downloadable links.
7) Do you take drama request(s)?We are a fansubbing group dedicated to subbing ArJoe dramas and Ariel and Joe events, so we do not have the human power or resources to really take on drama requests, sorry.
8) Where can I buy English subbed episodes of the projects and the OST(s)? 9) Will there be a 3rd season of ISWAK? Rumors have been circulating about the filming of ISWAK 3. As of now, we're treating this as just that: a rumor. We will wait to hear official words from the director and/or the production team. Joe and Ariel cleared this issue at their interview on Golden Eagle Network (February 08, 2009).
Of course we'll all be extremely delighted and will no doubt sub this project if this comes true! xD 10) Are Ariel and Joe dating? WE WISH!!!
11) Why aren't your videos loading? All EA videos hosted on YT at the 'iswakfansubs' channel are no longer working. We are working to reupload them to a new account. Working videos for LoB are being hosted here. The videos that are not working are hosted on DailyMotion (DM). Overstream is having problems loading DM clips. We've contacted the admins of Overstream and this is their response:
"We are indeed aware of this problem, please see http://www.overstream.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=254 . I hope this is not a permanent problem but it seems there is nothing we can do on our part to fix this without Dailymotion's help. If you and other overstream users would also write to Dailymotion explaining that you really need Overstream to work with Dailymotion, this might greatly help."
We are reuploading all DM videos to a different host and will gradually replace all DM links in Overstream, starting with "Love or Bread" (update: Nov. 6, 2009 finished reuploading; watch here). Your patience is much appreciated. More questions may be added in the future, so please check back often.
